In January of 2010, Feitian and Aladdin Knowledge Systems Ltd., reached a global patent cross-licensing settlement. With the agreement signed, both companies will cross-license their TOKEN related patents globally. This brought an end to a litigation case where lawsuits were filed in both China and in the United States.

The settlement was reached after the two companies agreed to a full understanding and recognition of mutual relevant intellectual property rights and careful consideration and unremitting efforts.
